ABOUT
Junkie for Upcycles grew from my lifelong love of turning old, forgotten things into something new, joyful, and full of character. For years, I made pieces for friends and family who always encouraged me to share my work more widely, but as a full-time single mom I never had the time.
In 2020, my life changed completely when I became seriously ill with COVID and spent nearly three months in the hospital on a ventilator. During that time, I lost my dad only a few doors away and wasn’t able to say goodbye or be with my family. Recovery was long and difficult, and when I finally returned home on oxygen, I knew I needed something that would bring healing, purpose, and happiness back into my life.
Creating upcycled home and yard décor became that passion. Every piece I make is one-of-a-kind and crafted with love, gratitude, and a deep appreciation for second chances — both for old materials and for myself.
Thank you for visiting my page and supporting my journey. If something here speaks to you, feel free to message me anytime.

When I’m not crafting, you’ll find me exploring thrift stores, hunting for treasures, or dreaming up the next whimsical creation. Upcycling has become more than a hobby for me — it’s a joyful way to give forgotten things new life. My style is colorful, quirky, rustic, and full of whimsical charm, and every piece I make is completely one-of-a-kind. Each creation I make contains reclaimed materials and designed to bring a little happiness and character into any home or garden. Thank you for supporting my passion!
